Outdoor Sales Engineer

  • Industry experience, Prior experience in sales or a technical role within the instrument industry is often preferred. Familiarity with the market, competitors, and customer base can be advantageous.
  • Problem-solving ability, the sales engineer should be able to analyze customer requirements, identify potential issues, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers, preparing proposals, and presenting product information.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field is typically required.
  • Min 2 years experience in sales.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations to customers, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training for customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure sales.
